Grodge

History

Grodge was by no means the first currency in our world but its among the most widely used ones due to the Silence Market. Created by Alexander Grodge his goal was to create a currency that would be untraceable. At this point the Silence Market was beginning to take shape into what it is today but it was still using Colgar as its currency but the Sinktin Empire forces were quickly tracing them back to merchants in the Silence Market. So Alexander created the Grodge currency.

Description

As with all currencies in Averona this is a physical currency in the form of a sort of ingot. How it's made is by getting a ingot of high grade Exumium and then cutting 5 ridges into 2 of the long sides of the ingot. The reason this is untraceable is simply because Exumium essentially cleans itself wiping any fingerprint or other identifying markers that currencies like Colgar would otherwise have. Plus since Exumium is so rare and hard to work with only one place can create this currency, The Silent Sanctum.
